Media Award winners

The Royal College of Physicians offered a perfect backdrop for old and new industry colleagues to mingle at the 9th Avicenna Media Awards. The event, now a firm favourite in the pharmacy calendar, is designed to celebrate the unsung heroes of the trade press who demystify the world of pharmacy for contractors on a daily basis.

Training Matters took the prize for Best Support for the Pharmacy Team for the third year running, whilst Lilian Anekwe, from Chemist and Druggist, celebrated a second time win in the Best Investigative Feature category for her work on Pharmacy Call to Action. Grace Lewis from Chemist and Druggist beat a record number of entrants to be crowned Pharmacy Writer of the Year. Pharmacy Business Magazine was awarded the Best Support for Independents title. Most Adaptable Title was won by The Pharmacy Network.
