Who We Are

Our beginnings

Founded over twenty five years ago by a handful of pharmacists who had insight to act together to create a group able to negotiate better terms with the suppliers. Avicenna has grown into a family of more than 1000 members with the collective vision to continue to flourish in a changing marketplace.

Today

We are the UK’s largest independent pharmacy support group. Avicenna continues to remain 100% independent. We are not aligned to any wholesaler ensuring that our vision and all of our advice remain completely impartial.
