Avicenna Ukraine Appeal

During the month of April Avicenna will be raising money in support of British-Ukrainian Aid (registered charity no. 1164472) via the Avicenna Just Giving page and in branch because we want to support those struggling in the crisis.

British-Ukrainian Aid – supports people suffering from the war and humanitarian crisis in Ukraine by aligning UK and Ukrainian efforts. They aid vulnerable individuals who have been physically, mentally, and socially disadvantaged – including injured and wounded, orphaned children, the elderly, internally displaced, refugees and families who have lost their main earners.

Donations can be made by scanning the QR Code (example below) on our Avicenna Ukraine Support poster- linking directly to the Avicenna Just Giving Page https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/avicenna-ukrainian-aid

Customers can also donate using the payment machines at the checkout point during their payment process in branch

Avicenna will match all donations made via our Just Giving page and in store to British Ukrainian Aid

Our fundraising activity will also be promoted via Avicenna Facebook page and Twitter from Friday 1st April, enabling staff to share information with family and friends and encourage donations.

To further promote our fundraising activities, each Friday during April all staff are encouraged to wear blue and yellow clothing, use ribbons or other suitable merchandise to decorate stores/office/home office and show their support for the campaign.
